Ron Zakrin aka Goudron AKA Ghost 200

Detroit native and multi media artist Ron Zakrin has been a creative force in Detroit and beyond for the past two decades. Known primarily for his visual art, Zakrin has also been producing electronic music since the late 90's as Goudron with several releases on such influential record labels as Ersatz Audio and Interdimensional Transmissions. Zakrin is also part of the sensational three piece hard disco band Ze Dark Park with Ian Clark (Perspects, Le Car) and John Ryan (Spacelings & Bassheads, DR. DISKODUST). A forthcoming solo release on Equal Recordings marks Zakrin's return to the recording industry.
John Williams aka Bileebob

Bileebob creates sexy electronic music featuring vocals, soft & hard synths, hand-made instruments, and life sounds. He has been involved with the Detroit and Midwest electronic music scene since the mid 90’s. He has performed internationally in Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Scotland and Nova Scotia as a member of the Detroit Grand Pubahs and Underground Resistance. As a DJ, he blends a seamless mix of all genres, including techno and house, electro and new wave, twisting knobs and tweaking the EQ to the crowd’s anticipated delight.
In the mid-90′s he sang lead for a local ska band, The Exceptions, and released 2 CDs and various comps with them. He has released tracks on UR, SubBass SoundSystem, Plan B Recordings, JiveElectro, THROW and +8.

Raised in suburban Chicago, landing in Detroit at the right moment in the middle 1990’s Charles’ influences include: Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno, King Crimson, Robert Fripp, Roxy Music, The Stooges, Black Sabbath, TREX, Prince, Cluster, Neu, Phuture, Larry Heard, Jesse Saunders, Adonis, Trax Records, Wax Trax Records, Ministy, Laibach, Model 500, Egyptian Lover, Afrikka Bambatta, A Number of Names, Jonsun Bros/Crew, Grandmaster Flash, DJ Hyperactive, ESP Woody McBride, Drop Bass Records, Terry Mullan, Delta-9, Danny the Wildchild, Daft Punk, Direct Beat Records, Aux-88, and a vast number of other musical artist and movements that could name dropped to infinity. The main thrust of Charles music inspiration has been with regards to transit, economic geography, consumerism, loss, longing, transformation, distortion, attack, decay, sustain, resonance.

Eric Hinchman is the founder & label manager of Equal Recordings, co-founder of the Detroit Bachelor DJ Society, executive producer & host of the DBDJS & STEP podcasts. Hinchman has worked for record labels Interdimensional Transmissions & Intuit-Solar, and[taught the craft of beat matching at Axis Music Academy. You may have heard his sets at his past residencies at venues like: Velvet Lounge, Magic Bag, Labyrinth, Lush Lounge, 5th Avenue Royal Oak, Groove Room, Buddha Bar or one of many underground dance parties around the mid-west over the past 20+ years. Eric is currently performing & promoting JUST the TIP which takes place the third Friday of each month, at Northern Lights Lounge in Detroit.
