"Birthday Party" is a multi-disciplinary art party celebrating the New York Neo-Futurists, the prolific minds behind the show, Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind, created by Greg Allen, performed every Friday and Saturday in the East Village for the last 12 years. Too Much Light... is their ongoing ever-changing experiment to perform 30 plays in 60 minutes.
The Neo-Futurists are a collective of wildly productive writer/director/performers who create non-illusory, interactive theater that is a fusion of sport, poetry, and living-newspaper. Since 2004, they continue to explore new artistic territory, all consistent with the original mission to create interactive, highly personal, emotionally and intellectually challenging art for the general public.
On April 18th, the Neos celebrate the integrity and audacity of avant-garde theater in NYC at the House of Yes! Come get artsy fartsy!
