Norway`s only open air festival for underground club music takes place right by the beautiful Oslo fjord 21. and 22. of August at Sukkerbiten. Music, art, boat parties and seminars, all in one weekend - and all about norwegian and international underground club music!
Since 2010 a little crew of idealistic norwegian clubbers have gotten their hands dirty and made a festival all about their favorite underground music. Late summer evenings by the sea, all the good club music you can imagine, modern- and street art, dance performances and film in their very own container cinema.
Names as Norways finest Finnebassen and Trulz&Robin are in the line up, both with special live sets. International acts like Steve Bug, Catz ‘N Dogz and Mind Against are other artists billed for this years edition. The setting for the whole thing is pretty unique. Facing the spectacular Barcode the venue Sukkerbiten is actually a urban container village - perfect for club music - can literally feel the meeting between the underground music scene and the modern music city that Oslo have become.
This year the art program is as good as ever! Artists from all over Scandinavia, mostly Norway, both known and unknown, installasjons, graffiti or sculpture - they all exhibit their creations and performances in both open air and containers.
If you are going to a club festival in Scandinavia, this definitely is a good choice.
