For our first weekend in March we have an extra special treat for you all, returning to Village Underground will be DVS1 aka Zak Kuthoresky. 2015 was another massive year for him with his residency at Berghain, a non-stop worldwide touring schedule, whilst still finding the time to remain true to his roots in his home city's scene Minneapolis.
Zak's production is unique, using just 5 tracks to create his music, he creates energy, attitude and groove with ease and simplicity, releasing tracks on Klockworks, the infamous Ostgut Ton and his own label, Hush. Zak also runs a sub-label, Mistress Recordings, which is home to an unrestricted range of house and techno from artists like ASOK, Borrowed Identity and Juxta Position.
One of our most memorable performances of 2015 came from Zak's energetic set at the Klockworks showcase. We just had to get him back, this time for an all night special extended 8-hour set. Having become well known crafting his sound through all dimensions of dance music and keeping the floor moving, we are sure to be in for a real treat.
