The quietly prolific Pittsburgh Track Authority outfit has opened the doors to Machine Age Studios, the hardware-filled Pennsylvania bunker where the trio crafts its unique brand of dance music. Having released its debut LP, Enter the Machine, back in May (a record which can be streamed in full here) , Attack Magazine was curious as to where the PTA crew produced its tracks and so asked the artists to give a visual tour of their creative space. Nestled in Pittsburgh’s historic Polish Hill neighborhood, Machine Age Studios boasts a comprehensive collection of hardware synths and outboard FX, including an EMT 140 Plate Reverb—a rare finding in most electronic studios. Attack Magazine’s full visual tour of Pittsburgh Track Authority’s enviable production space can be seen here.
