Strange Famous label boss Sage Francis played matchmaker to bring Prolyphic and Reanimator together for their debut collaboration, The Ugly Truth. Reanimator has contributed production skills to every Sage Francis album while Prolyphic has been trading demo tapes with him since his first recording in 2000. The Ugly Truth has been three years in making, and the result should turn some heads in the indie-rap scene. “Survived Another Winter” brings together some New England camaraderie while serving up West Coast slander.
