The Party Guy imprint has put together Canada’s HxdB and rising Australian Cairo for a split EP (artwork above) that’s set to drop on April 10. Of the four tracks which make up the collaborative release, two find the producers working together while the remaining offerings showcase each artist’s solo abilities. Here, we have Cairo’s personal contribution, “Sudden Expectations,” which displays a number of sun-kissed synths floating around a blistering, garage-indebted beat, yielding the kind of club tune that comes wrapped in as much warmth as it is likely to inspire on the dancefloor.
