Max McFerren "Woah Roles"

New York-based DJ/producer Max McFerren recently released his "Hard Feeling" b/w "Tough Homme" record (artwork above) via Lamin Fofana's brand-new label, Sci-Fi & Fantasy. Though not featured on the record, "Woah Roles" recalls the kind of bouncy, old-school sounds that aptly sum up the vibe of the newcomer's two-track release. Bright, snappy drums are propelled by classic piano stabs and shuffling percussion as the tune slowly but surely climaxes with an acid-leaning bassline that will surely stoke any house-inclined dancefloor. You can listen to both of the equally vintage-sounding tracks from McFerren's 12" after the jump.
