Unknown to the Unknown label boss DJ Haus just dropped another slamming house track, “Thug Houz Anthem!,” which arrives with news of a forthcoming mixtape of the same name. If you’re familiar with DJ Haus, you may remember the freebies his Hot City duo dropped recently and his FACT TV interview from November, in which he discussed his love for throwback rave tunes and his desire to revamp and improve that classic ’90s sound. In that vein, “Thugz Houz Anthem!” sounds like something out of a ’93 warehouse party, but with the quality of a contemporary studio production. With an infectious vocal chop lifted from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s infamous “Thuggish Ruggish Bone,” it’s a tune that’ll undoubtedly rock just about any house-inclined dancefloor.
