Floridian poolside producer Judson Rogers (a.k.a. Sumsun) just dropped a new record via LA imprint Halocyan, a collection of three luscious, house-inspired originals which arrives with remixes from Minilogue and The Beat Broker. Though not featured on his Avey Oliver EP, Sumsun’s remix of “Yes I Know” from Daphni’s excellent Jiaolong album demonstrates his command over laidback grooves and his range of versatility, as it’s smooth production akin to those on his new EP but with a much funkier slant.
