Taken from last year’s Pale Fire LP, El Perro Del Mar‘s “Hold Off the Dawn” comes dipped in fuzzy textures and hazy pads on this remix from burgeoning Swedish outfit Gidge. Wrapping understated percussion and the singer’s elegant voice in piles of warm synths and pot-and-pan percussion, Gidge’s remix is a pleasantly grainy counterpart to the jazzy disco vibes of the original track. Look for this remix when it drops as part of El Perro Del Mar’s forthcoming “I Was a Boy” single.
