It’s been a noticeably quiet few years for the Brooklynite Jacques Renault (pictured above), having only released his “Back to You” single earlier this year and a few sporadic remixes prior to that. Today, another remix appears from the house stalwart, one which finds him reworking a collaborative track by Chad Valley and Twin Shadow. Though “I Owe You This” is as decidedly pop-oriented as the rest of Chad Valley’s Young Hunger LP for Cascine, the Let’s Play House co-owner beefs it up by adding his concentrated blend of disco-flecked dancefloor sounds to Twin Shadow’s dreamy vocals, all whilst keeping things as ethereal and catchy as the original.
