Los Angeles-based DJ and Underground Resistance affiliate Esteban Adame is readying the 10th release for ICAN, the label he runs in tandem with like-minded producer Santiago Salazar. The Brown Dream EP is set for release on March 18, and consists of three tight and concise techno tunes, with the dubbed-out “Assimilation” sitting in the middle of it. Starting off mellow, the track leans on a bed of lush keyboards until an organ solo halfway through pushes the track gently onto the dancefloor, sounding both alien and irresistibly playful at the same time. Brown Dream is the follow-up release to last year’s Determination EP, and finds Adame’s palette continuing to progress nicely as his output increases.
