Norwegian producer Torkelsen (pictured above) is on remix duty here, delivering a version of “Failing Upwards” for fellow Nordic producer Snasen. The original track (which we posted in January, here) is a somewhat grim and heady number, but with the addition of a glowing, ’80s-esque synth melody and some straightforward beats, Torkelsen’s remix is better geared toward dancefloor use. Later this fall, the two producers will release an album each, but before then, Torkelsen will perform at Denmark’s week-long Roskilde Festival in June and Snasen is set to make an appearance at Oslo’s Oya Festival in August.
