With a name like Funk Butcher (pictured above), one really has to deliver something, well, funky just about every time out. On his remix of budding London duo Kry Wolf, the producer and Rinse FM jock again lives up to his handle, not neccesarily delivering an outrightly upbeat effort, but nonetheless infusing the track with a slinky sense of soul fitting of his moniker. And, as to be expected, the rework also features an appropriately playful bassline, which helps to keep the track’s deep groove moving. Kry Wolf’s original “Concrete” will see a release sometime later this year, but can be streamed in full now, after the jump.
