Nameless producer Druid Cloak has just posted three bootleg remixes of his favorite tracks of the year thus far, including new versions of songs from Mount Kimbie, Lone, and Breach. The elusive American artist—who has released EPs on Symbols and Infinite Machine—has been gaining attention for his otherworldly productions and remixes, and his “Club Cosmos Bootleg” of Mount Kimbie‘s “Slow” is sure to elicit a similar response. In Druid Cloak’s hands, the original tune—taken from Mount Kimbie’s recent Cold Spring Fault Less Youth album—is given a skittering, slippery rework, underpinned by the kind of gloopy, synth-ladden stuff the producer has become known for.
