Natasha Kmeto "Dirty Mind Melt (Sweatson Klank Remix)"**

Following the recent release of her Crisis record via Dropping Gems, Portland-based singer/producer Natasha Kmeto has enlisted beat scene stalwart Sweatson Klank (a.k.a. Tom Wilson, the Alpha Pup affiliate formerly known as Take, pictured above) to remix one of her earlier singles. The result is a bold affair: Wilson has carried Kmeto's haunting "Dirty Mind Melt" tune through a string of upbeat hip-hop influences, retaining a bit of the West Coast artist's vocal work and lifting the track's mood into more buoyant territory. "Dirty Mind Melt (Sweatson Klank Remix)" conjures sun-drenched images of driving down the LA freeway with the windows down and the open road ahead.
