Late last year, Teengirl Fantasy (a.k.a. Nick Weiss and Logan Takahashi) released the four-track Nun EP, the pair’s first proper release since its sophomore LP, Tracer, landed in 2012. Now, with the outfit’s 2014 release schedule still forming, Weiss and Takahashi have revealed plans for an upcoming spring tour which will find the two beginning their voyage in New York before crossing the Atlantic to perform around the UK, Netherlands, France, and Germany, among a number of other European destinations. In tow with the announcement comes “TonBase,” a new production that finds the duo weaving an unsteady, bell-like arpeggio into a collage of 160-bpm drum patterns, bulbous analog bass, and drifting chords.
