Back in April, we hosted London producer Little People‘s rework of Marley Carroll‘s “First Thought Best Thought.” Now, the North Carolina-based Carroll has returned the favor, taking on “Aldgate Patterns” for Little People’s upcoming We Are but Hunks of Wood Remixes collection. In its new form, the track is rendered into a rush of bright melodies, sweeping strings, and driving layers of percussion. Carroll’s detailed remix will be joined by others from Sun Glitters, Blockhead, and Emancipator—as well as a number of b-sides and bonus cuts from Little People’s sophomore LP—when We Are but Hunks of Wood Remixes sees an official release on June 10.
