Yesterday, Portuguese rap outfit A.M.O.R. issued a new remix EP for its recent Infinity record. One of the four-track collection’s reworks comes from fellow Portugal-based duo Sabre, who refix “Hustlerz” into a swimming house number. Beginning with a blast of lyrics from A.M.O.R., the remix quickly gathers together a thick procession of swirling synth tones and layers of airy percussion, which together glide and rattle above the track’s steady drum-machine march. In addition to the remix from Sabre offered here, the Infinity Remixed EP also offers reworks from the like of Opal Tapes/Fourth Wave affiliate IVVVO, as well as a pair of Portugal up-and-comers in Shcuro and Pedro O Mau.
