On his upcoming Ignea EP, Chilean producer Tomás Urquieta crafts club music indebted to the sounds of labels like Night Slugs and Fade to Mind, fitting industrial hits and space-age FX between booming rhythms. On his remix of Urquieta’s “Smoke Signal,” Texan producer Sines elects to lace the track with an electro-like rhythm, placing crisp claps and racing hats between the tune’s thudding kick drums and extra layers of chopped chords. Sines’ remix can be grabbed for free below while, ahead of its release on October 10 via Chile’s Diamante imprint, Urquieta’s Ignea EP can be previewed after the jump.
