Following on from an EP on Tangram Records, and a debut-album on Californian imprint Cold Busted, Belgian artist Moodprint is set to release his latest EP, Scrapbook, for free later this month on the Moodprint soundcloud page. The four-track EP features two solo originals and two cuts with featured artists, one with frequent collaborator Poldoore and the one in question here, with Canada-based artist Elaquent. Opening with laid-back, delicate chords and fragile percussion, “Cold Turkey” smoothly strolls across its three-minute run accompanied by faint, soul-like vocals, choppy synth work, and a funky-as-hell bassline.
