Having previously released a slew of EP’s and albums under his Anstam moniker through his own self-titled imprint and Modeselektor’s infamous Monkeytown Records and now defunct 50Weapons label, Lars Stöwe has recently released a new album titled To Gravit And Symmet We Rhyth under his latest and preferred Anno Stamm appellation on Dublin’s All City Records. The LP is a beautifully structured double-pack which shows off Stöwe’s ambidextrous nature; blurring together blatant dancefloor tunes that pay tribute to his “raw technoish Berlin club roots” with an onslaught of immaculate and restful home-listening sounds.

To help celebrate this fantastic release Stöwe has offered up a taste of the latter, graciously gifting his track “Sensing Social Sirens” as today’s XLR8R download. Implementing a “pastoral IDM tone” that is all its own, the track is an ambrosial and glowing excursion that possesses waves of surmounting synths, complaisant drum patterns, and a rugged bassline.
