The compilation, titled We Are What You Think We Are, is the tenth release from the NYC-based crew and features a huge list of 15 artists who represent the label’s extended family (frequent local collaborators are paired with guests from their various parties over the years). The release is split across three release dates, each giving a different example of the label's sound: 10.1 focuses on the influence of synthwave and postpunk electronics; 10.2 goes down a harder-edged acid and electro direction; and 10.3 delves even further into the abyss, with a collection of industrial techno.
10.1 dropped last month on August 25, with 10.2 arriving on September 8 and 10.3 on September 22. In support of the release, Lost Soul Enterprises have sent over Rose E Kross' "Access Denied," a cut fromt he first drop, as one of today's XLR8R downloads.
