Leeds-based DJ/producer and Transmission Collective affiliate Maru is set to release his Porta Alpina EP, which also features remixes from fellow collective members Kahwe and Wolf Cub. Featured here, Wolf Cub’s version of “Alpina” doesn’t stray too far from the original. It’s a slightly punchier mix with synthetic strings and a stronger emphasis on the acid-leaning bassline, helping make for a tune that’s sure to fit into any deep, jackin’ house set.
