After the early dubstep duo Various Production disbanded a couple years ago, ex-member Ean remained pretty quiet—until recently. Late last year, his name appeared in the tracklist of Om Unit‘s XLR8R podcast as the artist behind “AulderKincher,” a low-end-heavy tune with blasts of bass like a foghorn and a manic, jungle-tinged rhythm. The track has now resurfaced as one-fifth of Ean’s upcoming Darknet EP, which will be released via Om Unit’s Cosmic Bridge label on July 2 and can be previewed after the jump.
