A consistent home for quality house music (often of the jazzy and disco-infused sort), Sweden’s Local Talk imprint will soon add the first full-length artist album to its always catalog in the form of the Crescendo LP from Crackazat. A Bristol-bred producer, Crackazat now calls the Swedish city of Uppsala home, which is where he crafted the 13 tracks which make up his debut LP. A Floating Points-esque highlight from the record, Crackazat has given his “Eye Light” production (which can be heard in its original form here) a slight reshaping, deeming the result the “Sunset” version of the track, likely due to the production’s warm organ chords and joyously swung rhythms. Crackazat’s “Eye Light (Sunset)” tune can be grabbed for free below ahead of the Crescendo LP’s official release later this week, on March 6.
