After dropping her Neverwhere EP via BPitch Control late last year, Berlin DJ/producer Camea (pictured above) is set to return next week with a new remix EP featuring the likes of Deadbeat, Locked Groove, and Lee Jones, whose take on “I Dream of You” is featured here. Running just over six minutes, Jones’ rework sheds the more luminous elements of Camea’s original, deciding instead to steer the track into a darker space propelled by deep grooves, sparse percussion, and the gradual manipulation of spacey synth textures. Camea’s vinyl-only Neverwhere Remixes EP drops on April 28.
