Earlier this week, UK producer Jermaine Soul released a five-song “audio memoir” of sorts, an effort created using various experiences in his life as inspiration. The emotionally charged “It’s Time We Part” recalls a serious break-up, with quiet clips of a couple’s heated exchange lingering behind the intricate, IDM-flavored beatwork. The Observatory EP, from which “It’s Time We Part” is taken, can be downloaded free of charge on Jermaine Soul’s Bandcamp.
