Following on from the brilliant JJ01 “(MANIK Summer Refix)”—which evidently landed in second place in our Top 10 Downloads of June—LA-based producer MANIK returns with the second of four Janet Jackson edits, this time, “JJ02 (MANIK Acid Reflux).” Opening with soulful vocal chops, the track soon ventures into heavy acid territory, with a galloping bassline and whirling synths providing the driving force of the track.
