Sometimes its fun to listen to a track from Bobby Tank and try to imagine how many people it would take to actually play each sound live. Hailing from London, the producer manages to fit a new sonic element into every nook and cranny of his work without making his productions sound overcrowded. Such is the case with “Learn from You,” the b-side to Tank’s upcoming “Undone” single for the MofoHifi label (out May 12). Featured here, “Learn from You” is an ever-evolving, funk-laced voyage into a world marked by glowing sonics, impossibly punchy drums, and bass that just can’t seem to stand still. Fortunately, the UK producer’s attention to detail here proves as strong as his songcraft, making “Learn from You” a remarkably catchy tune no matter where exactly one finds themselves in its countless sections. Aside from offering “Learn from You” below, the title track of the artist’s forthcoming “Undone” single—which is intended as a preview to Tank’s debut LP, expected later this year—is available to stream in full after the jump.
