UK producer Jabru has put his talents to a variety of projects this year, delivering an early collaborative EP alongside Hackman as Bruh Jackman, and appearing just last month on the inaguaral comp for the new Sounds of the Cosmos label. Looking to squeeze one last effort in before the year comes to a close, Jabru has dropped the Calling Card Vol. 1 EP, a diverse, five-track effort that shows some new depths to the budding producer’s range. “Like You Care” serves as the digi-record’s most straight-forward cut. Its thinly sliced chords and bulbous bassline lead the rolling house number’s opening push before a restlessly tweaked synth sequence takes over the latter half. After giving “Like You Care” a spin, Jabru’s full Calling Card Vol. 1 EP can be streamed and downloaded for free after the jump.
