Just today, London’s 2nd Drop imprint released Future Foundations, a compilation featuring new tunes from South London Ordnance, Youandewan, Last Magpie, and the original version of LV‘s “Livin Up” with UK vocalist Dan Bowskill. Reaching way across the pond, the label has enlisted Portland producer Gulls (pictured above) to rework the track, and he’s complied by reshaping the sparse momentum of LV’s production into a space-age piece of dub complete with bits of echoed percussion and distant horn lines. After giving the remix a listen, the artwork and full tracklist for Future Foundations can be found after the jump.
