Flashmob‘s free edit series is a collection of bootleg edits of a handful of seminal house and techno tracks. One of those tracks is Losoul’s brilliantly sleazy “Lies,” an undoubtable minimal-house classic. Originally released on Playhouse back in ’99, “Lies” now gets the edit treatment from the now solo Flashmob, with the Italian artist stripping things back and pushing the vocal to the front for a groovy, deep-house rework. Flashmob has just released an EP on Alan Fitzpatrick’s ESD vinyl-only label, as well as a “Raw Technique” sample pack on Beatport, and has a collaboration with Jerome Sydenham scheduled for this month. Before that collab drops, you can download Flashmob’s edit of “Lies” for free below.
