Following her 2015 single, “1994,” Maud Geffray returns to Pan European Recordings today with her debut album, Polaar.

Since 2003, the French artist has been a part of the Scratch Massive, putting out well-received albums and singles on labels like Pschent and Record Makers that fuse electro stylings with synth pop and chunky beats. Geffray’s solo work follows suit with moody synth-driven compositions that range from hazy downtempo to lurching groove-led club cuts. Polaar is at once introspective and confrontational, an album that is as suited to home listening as it is for the dancefloor.

In support of the release, Geffray and the label have offered up deep album track “Sick of Love” as today’s XLR8R download, available via WeTransfer below.
