Brace yourselves, for “Plastic” by Amsterdam producers Sin City Status is a journey into heavy, low-frequency territory guided by little more than a single sampled word: “plastic.” On the one-off cut, which follows the pair’s recently released “The Clave” b/w “Cut Two” record for Party Guy, pure and pristine bass accompanies peppy handclaps and precise percussion elements taken from what seems like hip-hop and classic techno drum kits.
