Vasilis Moschas (a.k.a. Polygrains) is a musician, singer, songwriter, and producer who has spent a life dedicated to music. He studied jazz at the Contemporary Conservatory of Thessaloniki, and at the London College of Music, he graduated in Popular Music Performance. Moschas’ Polygrain project fuses his formal training with a vast pool of electronic music influences, taking in house, techno, electronica, and leftfield pop.

Pleasure Coma is the next full-length album to drop from the Polygrains project—set for a November 18 release—and the opening track from the LP, “Werner’s Dream,” is today’s XLR8R download. The track is a perfect example of the way Moschas manages to pull from his various influences to create tracks that have the urgency of house and techno, the experimental nature of electronica, and pop’s catchy hooks.
