From their recently released collaborative EP for Sweden’s Discobelle label/blog, Kult Leader, DJ Wool and Spoek Mathambo just handed over this pulsating cut for your downloading/listening pleasure. “Red For Danger” deftly pushes the same kind of tense dancefloor rhythms we heard previously on this video for the EP’s title track, albeit with a noticeably deeper thump. The duo’s sound arsenal of percussion, sub-bass frequencies, buzzy synth tones, and tweaked vocal drops continues to swell in size and intensity as the tune progresses, resulting in a disorienting electro-house groove that’s surprisingly tasteful.
