On October 28, Tact Recordings will welcome Manchester’s Ruthit to the fold with Sonder his collaborative EP alongside Tact label boss Jordan Bruce under his Yard One guise.

Sonder follows up Luke Black’s Fish Bone EP—which also included a Yard One reshape—with a solo track from Ruthit and two collaborative cuts alongside Bruce. The release is already picking up steam on the DJ circuit, with support from DJ Deep, Johannes Volk, Dave DK, Raresh, Galcher Lustwerk, and Mosca. Filled with deep, intricate rhythms and trippy textures, it’s not hard to see why Sonder has gained the support of the varied artists mentioned above. There’s a certain classiness to the each of the tracks, with enough off-kilter sounds to keep them rooted firmly in the underground.

Ahead of the release this week, Ruthit’s solo effort, “Trickle,” can be grabbed as an XLR8R download below. Like the rest of the release, “Trickle” follows an ever-evolving aesthetic, although it’s a darker outing than the rest, with a low-slung bassline and shadowy, dubbed-out echoes.

You can pick up “Trickle” via WeTransfer below.
