Hailing from a the suburb of Havertown just outside of Philadelphia, producer Sam Greens has been consistently honing his ability to craft head-bopping beats through the both the dreary winter nights and heated summer days in the city of brotherly love. Originally starting his musical career working at number of studios throughout Philidalphia, Greens was engineering, producing, and mixing for a bundle of Philly rappers such as Peedi Crakk, Neef, and Young Chris. Becoming an artist in is own right, his production has blossomed into a full-fledged pageant of unconventionally slinky electronic beats with a modern R&B leaning.

Having just released his EP Rugs via the widespread and a multifarious music label Grind Select and Rare MP3s, Greens has graciously offered up his EP cut “Annuals (feat. Moon Bounce)” as today’s XLR8R download. The tracks an overarching laze vibe is made up of slippery synth arrangements and busy percussion that is stalked by Moon Bounce‘s prurient and kittenish vocals.
