With his Third Rail EP set to drop via the Bass Machine label later this month (February 24, to be exact), Washington producer Zenojim has offered up “Spacebass Thesis” as a preview to the upcoming effort. Here, Zenojim’s production takes shape as a cooly textured exercise in swinging garage, one in which the gentle sway of the track’s loose chords is dissected by precise drum programming and interlocked layers of miniature percussion.
