The winning sounds of “Sprutbass Theme,” the lead track from Norweigan skweee producer Sprutbass‘ recently released self-titled EP for Dødpop, evoke the soul of purple dubstep thanks to the wailing video game synths, punchy basslines, and all-around lively vibes. We’re treated to this freebie along with a video for “Norsk Dans,” another song featured on the record. Academy Award-nominated director Karl Erik Brøndbo and cinematographer Solfrid Kjetså directed the slick piece, which features Sprutbass dropping dishes, an adorable blonde child who is ultimately covered in black face paint, and various organic plant and aquatic textures. After checking out “Sprutbass Theme,” ou can watch Sprutbass’ video after the jump.
