After releasing his Click Party EP today via Russian imprint Hyperboloid, Moscow producer Gillepsy sent over its closing track. Though it’s easily the most subdued offering in the set, “The Scientist” still features some harsh synths stabbing through a layer of spacey effects and complicated beat work. It brings to mind a number of artists working in similarly dubstep-inspired realms, but nonetheless holds its own thanks to some top-notch production quality.
