Back on March 3, TK Records label-head Torsten Kanzler released “Underdog,” a driving techno single that landed backed by two remixes from Romanian-born Simina Grigoriu and Germany’s Drumcomplex. Each cut provides a slightly different take on deep and dark dancefloor techno, pulsating, bass-heavy tracks for the early hours.

In support of the EP, Kanzler has offered up a bonus track, titled “Defective Train,” as today’s XLR8R download. Produced around the same time as “Underdog,” the cut was mostly written while sitting for hours on a train and, like its namesake, it’s an endlessly rolling slice of mechanical techno.
