Over the past few months, XLR8R has been curating a special set of charts for Beatport. The final offering of 2010 comes from none other than Deadboy, the London-based Numbers stalwart. The producer actually kept things relatively quiet this year, releasing only the Here EP and a 12″ of Julio Bashmore remixes of his now-classic “Heartbreaker” single. Even with his lower profile, we remain partial to Deadboy’s uncanny ability to combine garage, bassline, house, and other sounds in fresh ways. His chart—which is not ranked in any particular order—is similarly varied, somehow finding room for Kate Bush, Basic Channel, DJ Rashad, Vybz Kartel, and other diverse selections. We’re certainly not complaining.

1. Nookie “Only You (Remix)” (Reinforced Records)
2. Vybz Kartel “Half On A Baby (Mosca Remix)” (Mixpak Records)
3. Crystal Fighters “Champion Sound (Gongon Mix)” (Zirkulo)
4. Dead Dred “Dred Bass” (Moving Shadow)
5. Basic Channel “Phylyps Trak II/II” (Basic Channel)
6. Cutty Ranks “Intro: Live At Skateland (1986)” (VP Records)
7. Hudson Mohawke “All Your Love” (Warp Records)
8. Kate Bush “Cloudbusting” (EMI)
9. DJ Rashad “In Da Club Before Eleven O’ Clock” (Juke Trax Online)
10. Manix “You Held My Hand (Remix)” (Reinforced Records)
