London-bred Four Tet dropped a new mix on his SoundCloud today, titled Conference of the Birds. The producer, who is now based in New York, tweeted this morning that the mix contains several tracks from a new 12″ he’ll be putting out on his Text imprint. The 45-minute DJ set draws from Four Tet’s ever-expanding wheelhouse of UK garage, ambient, and jazzy house music, a melangé of influences that has always made his sound difficult to pigeonhole.
