When we went into Teengirl Fantasy‘s Brooklyn studio this past February, the duo shared with us a bit of insight into the production that went into 2010’s lush 7AM album, as well as its forthcoming releases for R&S. Now, we can finally hear a bit of the music that the guys talked to us about. “Motif,” which is streaming in the player below, is the first cut on a new 12″ that Teengirl Fantasy has announced will drop on June 25 via the aforementioned label. Also featured on the record is another original production, called “Eternal,” and a remix of the lead tune by UK techno shaman Actress. Still no word on the album’s details, but we expect that will change in the near future. (via Pitchfork)
