Friends of Friends, the California label with an intriguing artist roster that includes Shlohmo and Ernest Gonzales, is preparing the debut album from Danish producer Tomas Barfod (a recent XLR8Rpodcast contributor) and has just put out a video for the LP’s lead single, “Broken Glass.” Directed by Martin Garde Abilgaard, the video matches the song’s lonely, Auto-Tuned vocal line with highly detailed shots of a woman lounging in her apartment and, later, breaking a whole lot of windows. The Broken Glass EP has been out for a few months now, but the title track will also feature on the forthcoming LP, Salton Sea, which will be available on May 22. In the meantime, you can check out a remix of “Broken Glass” by German producer Jacob Korn below.
