You may have already heard “Cuba Electronic,” one of the two lead singles lifted from dubstep diety Mala‘s forthcoming Mala in Cuba LP for Brownswood, but now the percussive and entrancing tune has been given an equally lively music video. The piece splices together images of the DJ/producer traversing the streets of Cuba, hanging out with the locals, and eventually taking to the stage for a vibrant performance. All of the footage appears to have been shot documentary-style, which gives Mala’s clip a candid and authentic vibe—like you might have been right there with him on his trip to the island. Look for the further fruits of that journey to drop on September 10.
