Before veteran French DJ/producer Alan Braxe releases a new EP via Scion A/V next week, he’s offered us the premiere of one of its 11 tracks. We haven’t really been paying much attention to what the artist has been up to since, oh, around 2007, but in a surprising turn of events, Braxe’s new tune is actually quite good. Soaked in glistening ’80s synths and motorik rhythms, the emotive “Daydreaming” is one of two instrumental productions set to appear on the Moments in Time EP, alongside remixes from artists like Memory Tapes and Lifelike.
